About Us

North East Times is the region’s longest-running monthly magazine. With a history spanning three decades, it is woven into the fabric of North East England’s business life.

Delivered to the heart of North East England’s business community and covering Tyneside, Wearside, County Durham, Teesside and Northumberland, North East Times is a must-have for companies of all sizes, providing news, interviews, features and valuable advice.

Plus, this high class, glossy publication offers readers extensive coverage of the region’s property, sport, art, entertainment and dining scenes.

North East Times was launched in September 1981 by local publisher Chris Robinson. The title became part of the Accent Magazines Group (www.accentmagazines.co.uk) in 2002, joining a portfolio which included monthly regional lifestyle publication Accent and weekly property magazine Northeast Househunter.

Aimed at business people and affluent North Easterners, the magazine, priced at £2.95, boasts a host of regular specialist contributors, who cover law, finance, media, human resources, property and other aspects of business life.

In addition, you’ll find revealing interviews, profiles and in-depth features, as well as fashion tips, restaurant reviews, arts features and coverage of sporting stars and events.

And with the help of our roving photographers, we provide coverage of a wide range of business and social events around the North East – you may well recognise yourself, or someone you know, in our pages.

The magazine, which has a circulation of 15,000, is distributed free of charge to businesses across the region and is also available in newsagents.

Blending topical, high quality business content with the finer things in life, North East Times taps into what makes this region so special.

North East Times Business Who's Who

This annual magazine, in a convenient A5 format, has been published every year since 2005 and is a handy guide to the North East's key business figures, with information on their roles, companies and contact details.

The magazine, aimed at decision makers in the region's business community, has a circulation of 15,000 and is a fantastic networking and reference tool.

The Business Who’s Who is distributed to a wide range of businesses, where it's often left in reception areas, and reaches conference delegates because of its availability in North East hotels.

As well as an annual Who’s Who, we also publish industry-specific editions throughout the year.

A subscription to North East Times costs £50.00 (including postage and packing) for 12 issues plus the annual Business Who’s Who. To set up a subscription, please contact Leonie Ford on (0191) 284 9994 or email: leonie.ford@accentmagazines.co.uk
